In the Spring Term our Youth Choir & Orchestra had their annual weekend away. This year we were in Liverpool for a weekend of social activities, worship, Bible study and music making.
The base for our stay was St. Peter’s Church in Woolton. On our first day we travelled from there into Liverpool for some fun at the Spring City Trampoline Park followed by a Chinese buffet and shopping in Liverpool One. Our final day began with some worship and teaching around the parable of the lost coin, exploring how precious we are to God and how our identity should be rooted in the fact that we are His beloved children.
The church itself was the venue for our musical showcase on Sunday afternoon. A delighted audience were treated to a mixture of music from our summer residential and our latest album ‘This Is Living’. We had a fantastic time and are now really looking forward to our week away in the summer.
