Resounding on the Wirral

From Voice Leader Cai

It’s been a fantastic first half-term starting Voice back on the Wirral again and a real blessing to have new and returning Voice members come and join us.

We have had lots of fun, there’s been plenty of new warm ups and card games learned, friendships are already being formed and for myself, it is such a blessing to see how confident these children and young people are and just how excited they are to be a part of Voice. Especially as for myself, I joined Voice for the first time in the Wirral group at about the age as some of my youth are now.

Already I am blown away by their desire to want to bless others and share what they have done, we have been learning a song called “My Prayer For You” and within our reflection times, writing things that others in the group can pray for us before swapping and taking those things to pray over in our own time, then we have picked some people within our lives to pray for too. But even within our groups, the young people have asked if we could sing this and other songs to the parents at home time and it is as much a blessing for me to witness that as I know it is for the parents.
I am really looking forward to the remainder of the term with more crazy games and actions for our music, more time to dig into God’s promises together and our first group performance over Christmas!
