In November our junior choir and youth choir & orchestra headed to The Pyramid Arts Centre in Warrington to record some tracks for their new album, Made For More. The album features new recordings of Voice favourites From The Day, Kaleidoscope and We Are Yours, as well as seven songs written and performed by our Creative Artists – Meg Watson, Lily Fletcher, Anna McArdle, Annie White, Cai Grimshaw and Luc Schluter.
The title of the album ‘Made for More’ is a line taken from We Are Yours and describes how, through our relationship with God, we are made for so much more than what the world around us or others offer. When asked our young people said that being ‘made for more’ means not being fearful, living life with joy, living an exciting life for God, being transformed into something beautiful, living with a purpose, finding strength for every day, not needing to change to fit in and trusting that we are valuable to Jesus. We hope that people know these wonderful truths for themselves as they listen to our music.
